What was striking about them was that they were happily not doing any of those things, because they were all engrossed in their mobile phones – could have been Twitter, but I suspect Facebook. Rather than choose to chat to each other, they were all sitting in a big group and chatting ‘virtually’ to other mates who presumably couldn’t join them.
